It’s short and sweet this week…

Howdy everyone. Being that it was a holiday weekend we were busy, but not doing a whole lot of interesting stuff in the studio. There was a show on Friday for the Halloween holiday and I know at least one person dressed up for the gig. Order of the Fallen Stars decided to have a little fun. Before you ask if he also tried to sing like Cartman…I wasn’t there, you’d need to ask Rhey….

I heard it was a great show, but I had other plans over the weekend that involved sitting at home with my sick kiddos. I got to catch up on a little sleep and continued working on the merch stuff for the Loose Affiliates and Troy Story Band. Sometimes the process takes a long time. Merch is an investment after all. I actually have received all the supplies to do the troy story shirts, so I plan to start on those this upcoming weekend. I am even going to participate in a live craft-along on a discord server while I work on them. It doesn’t sound like I will manage to get any interviews this weekend unfortunately. I wasn’t able to schedule anything with MaDu, but perhaps I can cross paths with one of our artists this month. 

Matt is still chipping away at mixing the Troy Story EP. He still thinks it will be done shortly. Target for release looks like some time in December or January, but I honestly have no idea when they will set the release date. I am not involved in that part of the process. I do believe the name of the EP is changing though. That being said, you folks will just have to wait to see what it is. 

The biggest news of the week is that MaDu’s latest single hit all major streaming platforms yesterday! If you haven’t checked out Haunted yet, you’re missing out.

 MaDu’s got another single, Space Bicycle, releasing next month. Keep your ears peeled, or whatever the saying is, and we will be sure to remind you here and on our socials when it releases. I already finished the cover art for that one. I actually started on the concept for it at the September 30th End of Summer Jam. It was an amusing one to work on to say the least. I don’t put a ton of time into some of these, but they are still fun to do.

That’s honestly all we’ve got this week. It’s a busy time for everyone. We hope everyone had a safe and happy halloween. Until next week…
